Founded by Arundhati and Jagdish Raja, Jagriti is a hub for the performance and visual arts in Whitefield, Bangalore. With a  200-seat auditorium built around a full-thrust stage, Jagriti’s vision is to professionalise English Language theatre in India.

The Online presence for Jagriti Theater was a collaborative effort, with the prospective design and color palette provided to *conditionsapply. The design had to be then tweaked, corrected and calibrated for the existing standards on web design and practises, along with the development of an exhaustive array of functionalities for the theater house that were, a first, in many aspects. WordPress was selected as the content management system for the online presence, and by virtue of its cutting-edge capabilities, it also enabled a whole lot of new functionalities that could be added on seamlessly. The current framework now makes it possible to update its theater shows on the fly, with exclusive content modules that enable inclusion of audio, video and text along with event booking, to make each production, a complete, organic cycle in itself.

Chowder Singh started off as a personal blog and wanted a platform and set of tools online that could give the initiative the much-needed power beneath its wings. The online presence for Chowder Singh was created based on a clear understanding of the various perspectives he covered on Indian Streetfood on a geographical basis, the various recipes that needed to be showcased that came along with his choicest food picks, and unique aspects of preparation and service of Indian Food that had never been documented before. The inititaive also needed the full advantages of the Social media tools to ensure that the content could be shared across the web in a seamless manner. Extreme care was taken in the layout and design to ensure that the focus of the consumer of content would always be on the Food descriptions and nothing else.

Bhasha News Media , a start-up social enterprise  to transform the way knowledge is managed and shared in the development sector, is in itself  a unique initiative in Indian media, and more so in the online media. Bhasha Media also powers UTTOR, a fortnightly livelihoods-based newspaper which services the information needs of disadvantaged population groups in parts of eastern India. Uttor was conferred the UNFPA-LAADLI Media Award for Gender-Sensitivity for Best Feature Series.*conditionsapply was able to make an online presence that effectively served the dissemination of UTTOR as a newsletter through an extremely effective platform called Bhasha News Media, which in itself  is a news and information sharing portal with a pay-to-read module integrated which in totality completes the vision of the niche media start-up.

It also had to be on an organically robust  framework that would be easily  searchable and accountable across all the search parameters across the Web. The resulting design was not limited to the spartan nature, texture and color palette of their corporate branding, and managed to portray a site that reflected the vibrant nature of the team’s energy, yet staying true to the most current technology and content management principles.

Bal Utsav  needed to be designed around the core concept of “Celebration”, but as an equally efficient platform that disseminated the activities of the organisation and its concerns and perspectives on the issues affecting children, from ground up, in the Indian society. It also needed to be scalable, in view of the multi-hued activity streams that would be taken up by the organisation and hence, the structure needed to be simple, yet dynamic and accommodating. Bal Utsav, in its final design  reflected the vibrant nature of the team’s energy, yet staying true to the most current technology and content management principles.

Soni Somarajan is an Indian poet and writer, based in Trivandrum, Kerala, writing in English, and also reviews books, articles, holds literary discussions on movies, tourism and travel in India.

Being an upcoming writer with a strong fan-following amongst the National Literati, the content was naturally the focus around which the entire  came together to form a cohesive and lucid spread of his expressions, thoughts and poetry. The framework was designed keeping in mind the myriad perspectives and the varied categories that would form the part of the entire site in time. One of the best content management systems available was employed for this purpose, with a clean, sparse and elegant interface which also faciliated the superior navigation built into the site. Sameer Dublay needs no introduction in the realm of Hindustanic Music in India. A highly respected musician, academician, teacher and above all someone who is equally at ease with the honorary traditions as well as the nuances of technology and social media to further the cause of Hindustani music, the challenge was to create an online domain that would seamlessly bridge the two realms, yet be the preferred place for online discussions on Music, culture and conversations in Hindustani Music.

From the word go, what conditionsapply endeavored was to design the entire concept around Sameer’s Music which in all respects reflect the effusiveness of his personality. The focus was to give it an earthy, yet regal look that resonated with tradition as well as technical ‘edginess’. At any point of time, Sameer Dublay could update any part of the content at the click of a mouse, be it his audio files, videos or for that matter his highly educative Music perspectives which seems to have caught the attention of the ‘Classical World’s ‘ attention.
