WHAT THEY NEEDED.

Nextlex LLC, based of out of US, with their strategic legal and business expertise  in various domains across multiple industries, wanted an online presence that effectively communicated the central idea of their legal business enterprise – consultancy and patent life cycle management that brings the right investor and the right invention together. The online presence also had to stand above the staid, clinical virtual entities of their peers, yet balance the vigor with the gravity of their area of expertise and work.

The minimal design was chosen to focus the entire attention of the prospective client/user to the core services of Nextlex, making it easer to choose, avail and contact them without any degrees of separation. The novelty of the concept in this genre of services was highlighted in the home page design itself, driving home the message loud and clear,and the ease in use of navigation ensured that the services information was at the user’s fingertips, to be informed and acted upon. The color palette was deliberately kept stark and minimal,with an easily identifiable dual tone that made easy associations to the enterprise.

The Play beauty salon for hair and skincare at Bengaluru, is the new-age interpretation of Neerus – the definitive word for style, skin care for celebrities and the fashionistas of Bengaluru, since the past ten years. They are, by far, pioneers in bringing the latest and the best in hairstyles and beauty treatments, creating the highest levels in style, sensibility and sophistication, to Bengaluru through their Beauty Concept salons.

WHAT THEY NEEDED.

Play Salon wanted an online presence that resonated with the vibrancy and zest of a place of beauty, than can be trusted for style,care and advice. It should also be a place which would showcase the style , the environment and the offers on services in an elegant and non-intrusive manner, yet be the unique selling points of the beauty salon online. It also had to strike a graceful balance between the color elements that symbolized their two outlets without resorting to line-heavy graphics and flash modules. Play also wanted to initiate, develop and nurture an online community in the most popular social media realm around its attributes of a trusted and leading house of beauty concepts, and have the online presence and the community be in perfect synergy in terms of content and engagement.

Play Salon was designed keeping all the requirements in mind, with an emphasis on conveying the zest of the entire enterprise through the color palette of the design. The prominent structuring of the main navigation dynamics, and the showcasing of the latest happenings at the Salon upfront, yet without being intrusive on the whole design ensured that the online presence in the client’s own words ” is exactly what we wanted to portray” on the web.  The community page that was initiated on the most popular social media platform, powered by Neeru’s insights and advice is on a healthy growth curve, fostering interactivity and engagement on varied topics regarding personal beauty care in its discussion forums

Under a new marketing and consolidation strategy adopted by them, they wanted the earlier RRPL online property to be made into its brands as separate entities – each with its own identity and domain. Rendezvous Restaurants Private Limited which is among the top 20 restaurant chains in India, has 6 properties in Bengaluru under the brands 100ft, Bayleaf and F & B, (Friends & Bacchus as it is popularly known), which in turn houses the 4 diverse properties. Under a new marketing and consolidation strategy adopted by them, they wanted the earlier RRPL online property to be made into its brands as separate entities – each with its own identity and domain. This essentially meant having 6 online properties for their properties, each becoming a promotional and interactive domain on its own across online social communities and patronage.

WHAT THEY NEEDED.

Friends and Bacchus was positioned as the ‘destination’ of its four popular outlets concept in the new consolidation strategy adopted by RRPL. What was needed was a static design page that disseminated information upfront about what F&B stood for and the concepts behind its popular outlets at the address.

WHAT WE DELIVERED.

The Friends and Bacchus micro-site was designed using  a color palette that mirrored the actual physical premises of the address, along with a concise gist of what it stood for and  the idea behind all the four outlets at F&B.

CATEGORY :  WEDDING SITE .

The wedding  site that celebrated Marina Smolya and Commander Lijo Stephen Chacko’s wedding was delightfully unique in many ways. Mainly  for the reasons that the online presence was a gift by a member of the team to the groom who was his childhood friend, with the secret connivance of his fiancée. The Bride was from Moscow, the Groom was a Naval Commander of the Indian Navy, and both were minor celebrities in their own right in the eyes of the media. It was also completed in 72 hours !

WHAT WAS NEEDED.

As it was an ‘International Affair’ , the online place, over and above being  the complete source of information about the event, also had to be lucid and easily engaging to the Bride’s family and friends, who were coming down to celebrate the coming together and the two families. The  place had to have the highest degree of ease in interactivity and the elegant grace of the fiancée’s sensibilities shining through.

WHAT WAS DELIVERED.

conditionsapply took extreme care to ensure that the main navigational tools displayed clarity and interactivity. The entire site content was language friendly, including an exhaustive  Photo Gallery, a do-by-the-number direction plan to reach the venue, and a blog  for the fiance. The Guest book which was incorporated was also language-friendly, and the team managed to deliver the site well before the 72 hours deadline.

Times have changed. It was a different ball game when the planet’s first ( and probably the most brilliant) marketing guy harped on the vanity of the fairer sex, peddling a red, shiny fruit as the cure to all ills, physical and emotional in the garden of Eden. The soliciting was upfront and personal. As products and variety increased and evolved, mediums evolved with them. Newsprint evolved to ether. Remember the days when television was the most used advertising medium? It graduated to a judicious mix of the two, but it has become increasingly difficult to focus with the literal explosion of the mediasphere that now straddles newsprint and TV in the physical media and the Web in the virtual space.

Information has now become the most prized commodity on the planet, an entity which is intangible and defy the normal yardsticks of “conventional, measurable effectiveness.” Information translates to content, and the primary benefactor has become the one who is empowered by it in the first place – be it the producer or the consumer. Whoever has the information before his peer, on either side of the table, has the edge.

But there lies the mismatch. The avenues of dissemination of this ‘information’ have become so obtuse, disjointed and fragmented, and naturally, the end user is faced with half-baked, recycled or half-truths all masquerading as Information. It becomes much more difficult when it comes to the producers of goods or services. The highly fragmented content consumption and a globally connected human race, is making this closely knit ecosystem is learning, evolving and doing things by itself like an artificial intelligent system.

Does it have a pattern or is it evolving as a result of a million different cohesive actions and reactions that is taking place with in? Internet behemoths and businesses or all sizes are trying to understand this and are trying to keep pace with this giant self evolving organism.

Traditional approach of approaching a marketing requirement and seeing it through its execution is receiving strong resistance from the audience/consumer. There is a need for companies who have have sound awareness and skills across multiple areas such as business, creativity , technology etc to be able to understand, capture and deliver client requirements in the most effective manner. There is a need to break away from the existing silos and adapt to form a unified service methodology.
